in Beginner Lessons

Question:

Hello Ryan:

I found a treasure at the used book store, which is Earl Scruggs and the 5 string banjo, 1964. He recommends the same three songs you do to get going.

Anyway, I have two questions/requests actually:

1] You started the first part of Dueling Banjos before I left. I followed your fingering and did get something, but it would be better if I could download it.

Could you direct me to where it is?

Is the second portion on the web site?

2[ I really like the way Little Maggie is played by Sam Bull. How would I find tabulature on that song?

Cheers
Bob

Answer:

Bob,

Hello, thanks for the email. You can find my version of dueling banjos by clicking here. This was a great lesson that everyone seemed to love. I think you’ll like it.

Little Maggie sounds like an excellent lesson. I’ll put it on the list and we’ll have the tab along with a video up on the site soon.

Thanks so much for your interest and keep us posted on your progress.

Talk to you soon,
Ryan
