Hi again Ryan
On part one , you walked us dummys thu the tune , note by note, but on part 2, the hard part, and the part everyone wants to learn correctly, you didn’t give any explaination as what picking pattern you were using or where you were placing your left hand , fingers.Could you dedicate a lesson, to a detailed explaination , on part 2, like you did , on part 1?
Hi Ryan, I’m a long time guitar fingerpicker, on the guitar, and built my own banjo, from a kit, and kinda suck on the banjo, I,m pushing 80. and the fingers don’t move as fast as they used to. I joined your site, yesterday, and noticed that you teach dueling banjo’s, but trying to figure out where you are putting your lefthand fingers, is very difficult, and time comsuming, to say the least I was very disipointed to see , that you didn’t have Tab. on this tune, as I have been wanting to learn this tune, for a long time
Sure, no problem. Thanks so much for letting me know.
Ryan, I’m trying to download Dueling Banjos Part 2, but when I bring it up on the screen, it says it is Part 1. Please can you resolve this? Thanks!
Ryan, my husband has resolved this problem. It took us over 2 hours to figure out, but I can now download and save lessons I want to play over and over. With limited download, I can’t afford to download it every time I want to practice. Basically, we had to get “Google Chrome” and “Real Player” first. (It just would not work on Mozilla Firefox or Internet Explorer.) Choose to download the lesson, but click ‘pause’ if it starts to play right away. If it doesn’t play right away, then do click the Play arrow and pause it immediately. That brings up a still-shot window of the paused lesson which will show your friendly face ;o) and just above the picture to the right (not the menu bar, but just at the top of the picture) you click on “Download this video.” Then a Real Player window appears with the download progressing happily. When it’s done, you can go to the Real Player Library, and voila!! There it is!! This has totally made my day!! I don’t know if anyone else out there has the limited download problem, or if my solution will help any one, but if it does, that would also make my day! Happy picking, and thank you for the wonderful lessons which I can now enjoy to my hearts content!
