    I joined today. I have been playing for a while (pretty much self taught) so I am looking forward to going back and filling in some missing blanks (sounds) .

    Do you ever play Grandfather’s Clock? That song always gives me a smile.

    Hi Ryan I have just signed up to your site I have been playing for about 2years now . Still very much a novice so looking forward to your lessons, I do try and practice most nights but working and getting time is difficult , but I do know that with your lessons it will be something to look forward too when I get home,

    Thanks Barry, Determination will get you farther than most people. That is what will make you a great banjo player.     boy do i need help! let me practice a few roll patterns,increase my speed,d,c,cords and such. i have some nerve damage in my finger tips, but i am determand,i know i will enjoy, barry
