I’ve been using a banjo tab editing software that you may be interested in if you enjoy tabbing out your own banjo licks. It’s also very useful for learning new songs simply because it has a midi feature. You can download it at TABLEDIT.COM. Try it out. It also has an upgraded version if you want some more bells and whistles!
Since we’re on the subject of tabs, if you want to post a banjo tab of a lick that you’ve created simply email it to me at ryan@banjoexpert.com in a jpg or gif image along with a text description and we’ll get it up on the blog. It’s a great way to promote your banjo site or group to all of us banjo students here at banjoexpert.com.

Joseph: To buy the full, non-demo, version, just go to the TablEdit website. Easy to find.
I agree, it’s awesome software!
You can download the free version but you are limited to printing out or save only 12 bars , that is the only limit I have found, you could write 12 bars at a time or in different sessions , the really nice thing about this soft ware you can slow in down and run it at any speed you desire.there is no demo title if you print out only 12 bars at a time the cost of the soft ware is 54.99 , I have used the free version for years . I have saved up over a five year period 29cents to go toward buying the soft ware . screen shots of the music is another way of getting around the 12 bar limit
You’ll have to purchase a licensed version from tabledit.com. Thanks Ryan

I like the demo software I downloaded from you but how do I go about obtaining this software for my personal use (no demo title written across it)?
I look forward to hearing from you
Regards
Joe
Thanks for the software tip. I’ve been looking for some tab software. It can get expensive.
