In this video banjo lesson we work through the “A” part of Jesse James. This tune has a lot of standard banjo licks mixed throughout. A great tune to learn to get some of the more complex banjo rolls.

when you were going thru the break full speed , on my video timer it was at about 1.02 the lick you did just before the last lick ..how do you do that lick … you may have gone over it before on other songs but i cant find it .. and you dont go over that lick when you teach it slow …unless i missed it

Jim, I am so glad to have you on the site as a member! You have such a wonderful positive attitude. You are going to learn a lot and be playing the banjo very soon. The lessons that we create in the future are emailed out every Friday to those who are on our email list which you will see in the right sidebar of the site. Make sure you’re on it to get notification of the lessons. If you miss an email you can always check the site.
