I just wanted to comment on the banjo I first bought to learn on. If you are not wanting to spend a whole lot on a beginner banjo, I think you might like the Epiphone MB-250. That is the one I learned on and I am quite impressed with the sound of it. You can buy one of these brand new for about $599.00.  I just upgraded to a Stelling banjo myself but will always enjoy practicing on my Epiphone.  I hope this helps and keep on pickin&#039;
