Try making up your own licks on the different chords. You have to think outside the box and work with little melodies inside the chords or progressions. Make up a new lick and send it to us. I’d love to hear it.

Thanks so much. I would recommend playing the forward roll 5,2,1 then 5,3,1, then 5,4,1 and repeat. This will get your index finger moving around throughout the roll and after a few days of practice will make playing 5,3,1, over and over much easier. Keep me posted on the progress. Thanks, Ryan
